It’s nearing that time of the year when things begin to go bump in the night, so we have organised a special BiG Halloween film night. We will be showing a 30 minute ‘behind the scenes’ film about Tim Burton’s stop motion animated musical ‘The Corpse Bride’ that looks at the production, character design, set design and animation of the movie. We will also be showing the ‘The Corpse Bride’ movie later in the evening.

This is our second BiG movie night and as we had such good feedback about the first one, we thought Halloween would be a good time for another. The aim of these meetings is to help provide BiG members with an opportunity to network with each other and find out what everyone is up to, and provide a film that stimulates discussion and hopefully some inspiration.

Meeting timings:

  • 7pm: Meeting starts
  • 8pm: The making of 'The Corpse Bride' 30 minute documentary
  • 9pm: Showing of 'The Corpse Bride' movie (1 hour/15 mins).
  • 10.30pm: Meeting ends.

Make a BiG scary thing and win a prize

In keeping with the stop motion and puppet theme of 'The Corpse Bride', we will also have plasticine available for BiG members to make creepy monsters with during the evening and there will be a prize for the scariest plasticine scary thing.
