Georgie Birkett

Georgie Birkett is an award winning illustrator who has worked on many books for children. She studied illustration at the University of Brighton and now works in her studio in the Brighton Lanes.
Georgie won the Booktrust Early Years Award for Best Baby Book 2008, was shortlisted for Best Baby Book 2009, and shortlisted for the Myra Robertson Baby Book of the year award. Some of her books have been selected for the Bookstart free baby book programme. Georgie has illustrated many picture books some of which she has written as well as illustrated.
