I studied ceramics at Camberwell School of Art and Crafts, London. After graduating, I ran my own ceramic studio for 10 busy years. I showed work in many galleries here,(e.g The Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh) and abroad. I was often commissioned to make work and a notable commission was from the Henri Bendel store in New York. For several years, I sold my work through Liberty of London and they also commissioned work exclusively for them. I took a break from pottery making, had a son Joseph, did a great variety of teaching work and helped my partner John Dilnot run the graphic side of his work. My recent drawings and prints celebrate rustic themes, country folklore and nature. Many of my illustrations are available as cards. Please email me for details. I have recently bought a kiln again and I am designing imagery for pottery, based on my drawings.
