Sharon Harmer

I have been working as a professional freelance illustrator for the last 15 years. I work in all areas of illustration but predominantly children’s books. I have worked on around 50 picture books, pre-school, board and novelty books and educational books for many publishers Worldwide, including Caterpillar, Ladybird, OUP, Pearson, and Simon & Schuster.

I have a love of nature, and have also traveled widely which inspires my work. I use a mixture of hand drawn line, painted textures and patterns, and Photoshop.

I live just along the coast from Brighton and in my spare time enjoy attending my allotment and garden.
