Bryony Crane

I am an illustrator, magpie, and general stuff-maker from the South Coast of England who enjoys working with a mix of traditional and digital methods. My work lends itself to a wide variety of applications and audiences, often mixing playful concepts with small pencil details and vibrant colour schemes.
My illustrations are inspired/fuelled by: stealthily drawing people in unusual poses, interesting colours/textures, great music, lots of tea, the occasional biscuit, and walking until exciting ideas creep up on me.

After graduating last year, I was chosen as an illustration semi-finalist in the Adobe Design Achievement Awards 2011, and this year I won the Sky Arts Ignition: Creative Wish (Brighton) prize. Recent clients include Samsung, Tesco Books, Powell Publishing, Haystack Records, and Digital Artist Magazine.
